Total Preparation Time:

PART 1

1)  With the inner pot inserted in the Instant Pot, turn the unit on to Saute.

2)  Once the display says “HOT”, add the Vegetable Oil and make sure it coats the bottom of the pot.  Add the contents of Package #1 to the pot.  Season with a little bit of Salt and Pepper.  Let the beef brown, stirring every minute or so, for about 6 minutes.

3)  Open Package #2, and add contents to the pot.  Continue to stir for 1 minute then Cancel the program.

4)  Open Package #3 and put the rice into your heat friendly bowl, add the 2/3 cup of water and season with a little bit of Salt.  Place the trivet into the instant pot, and put the bowl of rice on top of the trivet.

5)  Place the lid onto the Instant Pot, and set the Valve to Sealing.  Set the Instant pot to Pressure Cook  (if using an older model, adjust the pressure level to High Pressure).  Set the timer to 13 minutes.  Remember, the Instant Pot will need several minutes to come up to temperature before the timer begins.

PART 2

6)  Once the program ends, allow the Instant Pot to Naturally Pressure Release (let the unit sit, sealed but off), for 3 minutes, then Quick Pressure Release and remove the lid.

7)  Lift out the trivet with the Rice Bowl, set it aside.  Open Package #4, and add the veggies to the pot, stir to combine.

8)  Open Package #5 and add the Cornstarch and 2 Tbsp of water to the side bowl, and whisk together with your whisk or fork.  Turn the unit back on to Saute, add the slurry to the pot, and stir for 1 minute until the sauce has thickened, then Cancel the program.  Taste the sauce, season with Salt and Pepper to Taste

9)  Fluff the Rice and divide it into your serving bowls, then spoon the Beef & Broccoli into the bowls beside the Rice.  Garnish with some Sesame Seeds from Package #6, and Enjoy!
